
From October 21 to 23, Chairperson Zhang Li of SINOMACHINT attended the 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle and Auto Parts (Uzbekistan) Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the China Brand Exhibition) and carried out a series of business exchange activities.
On October 22, the China Brand Exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, organized by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, and implemented by SINOMACHINT, officially opened at the Central Asia Expo Center in Tashkent. Chairperson Zhang Li attended the opening ceremony alongside Mr. Wang Deyang, Deputy Director-General of the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce; Mr. Liu Yang, First Secretary of the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan; and distinguished guests from Messe Frankfurt Group, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and the automotive business associations, among others.
As an exhibition within the 2025 Futuroad Expo Tashkent, this year's China Brand Exhibition was held concurrently with Automechanika Tashkent and the Tashkent International Auto Show, forming a grand automotive industry event of unprecedented scale in Central Asia. The exhibition brought together 105 leading enterprises from 13 provinces and municipalities across China, showcasing cutting-edge products and core technologies from the new energy and traditional automotive sectors, and demonstrating the innovative strength and industrial competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing. The exhibition served as a precise matchmaking platform for China's automotive industry to deepen its presence in the Central Asian market. It also highlighted SINOMACHINT's active role in promoting Chinese manufacturing abroad and contributing to Belt and Road cooperation.
Following the opening ceremony, Mr. Wang Deyang and Chairperson Zhang Li met with Mr. Stephan Buurma, Member of the Board of Management, Messe Frankfurt Group, and Mr. Shukhrat Yusupov, President of the Uzbekistan Automotive Business Association. They reached a consensus on multiple issues, such as facilitating more exhibition projects, and deepening cooperation in the automotive and aftermarket sectors. During the exhibition, Chairperson Zhang Li and Mr. Wang visited the China Brand Pavilion, engaging with enterprise representatives to learn about their exhibition outcomes and market expansion plans. They also attended BYD's new vehicle launch ceremony and held in-depth discussions with executives from Geely Auto, Zeekr, and other brands.
While in Uzbekistan, the delegation led by Mr. Wang and Ms. Zhang Li conducted field research at the Datang Buka Photovoltaic Project, one of the largest standalone solar projects in Central Asia, and held discussions with representatives from China Datang Corporation and Dongfang Electric Corporation. The delegation also visited the Uzbekistan Representative Office of CAMCE, a subsidiary of SINOMACH, toured the Tashkent Olympic Center Project undertaken by CAMCE, and gained a deep understanding of Chinese enterprises' achievements in local infrastructure development. Additionally, they attended a roundtable meeting with the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce for Chinese Entrepreneurs and its member companies to learn about the development status of Chinese enterprises in the country, listen to their suggestions, and further promote international economic and trade cooperation.
